Firebrik Terminal

Your Herdr workspaces and coding agents, on your phone, over your own SSH.

Firebrik Terminal puts your Herdr session in your pocket. It connects to your own computer over SSH, attaches Herdr, and lets you follow and steer your coding agents from your phone.

Firebrik Terminal: your Herdr workspaces and coding agents, on your phone, over your own SSH. An "Agent needs you" prompt with an Approve button.

Features

01

Your server, nothing else

  • Connects only to the SSH servers you set up. No cloud relay, no analytics.
  • Save several servers and switch between them in a tap; one is connected at a time.
  • Optional: sign in with Google to see the same servers on your phone and tablet. They are kept in your own Google Drive, in a hidden folder only the app can read.
  • Works great over Tailscale or your local network.
  • The SSH key is created inside each device's secure hardware and never leaves it. A new device asks once, per server, to add its key.
  • The server's host key is pinned on first connection, so a changed server is caught.
02

A real terminal

  • Full xterm-256color terminal with true colour, alternate screen and bracketed paste.
  • Extra key row for ESC, TAB, arrows, Ctrl+C/D/Z and sticky CTRL and ALT.
  • Pinch to zoom the text. Light and dark themes.
03

Herdr, made for touch

  • Switch workspaces from a sheet that shows every agent's state.
  • Tabs as chips, a mini-map of the current split layout, and a grid view of every pane with live previews.
  • Two-finger swipe to move between panes; zoom a pane with one tap.
04

Answer your agents from anywhere

  • When an agent stops to ask for approval, you get a normal notification with Approve, Deny and Cancel buttons. Answer without opening the app.
  • A banner in the app lists every agent that is waiting, across all workspaces.
  • Know when an agent finishes while you are away.
  • Write prompts with templates or your voice and send them to any running agent.

Agents

Works with the agents Herdr recognises, including Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Antigravity, Cursor, OpenCode and more.

Before you start

What you need

  1. 01 A computer running Herdr (https://herdr.dev) and an SSH server you can reach from your phone.
  2. 02 Add the device's public key to ~/.ssh/authorized_keys, or let the app add it once with your SSH password (the password is never stored).

Firebrik Terminal is an independent app. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Herdr or by the makers of the agents it works with. Product names belong to their owners.
